Biography : Vidal Perez was born in Mexico City, Mexico on October 18, 1979. From 1999 to 2004 he completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago concentrating on stop motion animation, and Painting. In Chicago, Vidal Perez completed three stop motion films: Calaveras (2000), Anatomica (2001) and The Dwelling of Death (2003).

         Vidal Perez is currently enrolled in the animation graduate program at The University of Southern California where he has completed three films: En La Frontera (2004) Homage Film for Ray Harryhausen (2004) and Supenova (2006) which is his first computer animated short. He has worked professionally animating music videos for artists such as Death Cab for Cutie and Bigg Steele.
